Gilbere Forte- Eyes of Veritas Mixtape Easy Download
Not his most recent work but a dope compilation from the Michigan-born Philly representative. Throughout this mixtape Gilbere (pronounced Jil-bear) Forte transcends a variety of sounds. He touches both on the cliche love-sick lyrics with tracks like “Die for You” and “Karma” as well as incorporating today’s social and political issues with “Ballot of the Bullet” featuring G-Lee. Light hearted yet deep this mixtape is a dope addition to our music collection. Other songs not on this project are “Black Chukkas” and “So Appalled”. I have a feeling this guy may be the next twenty something to change the scene so catch up with his music and stay ahead of the game. His newest mixtape “Some Dreams Never Sleep” includes a bunch of “big names” from Tyga to Big KRIT and a couple dope tracks but they just don’t do Gibere’s solo style justice. “Eyes of Veritas” has been on constant replay for me this week. <3 AK
