HARD KNOCK TV INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Hard Knock TV is currently looking for dedicated college students that have passion for music, an interest in film/video, and social media to join our team. We currently have two internship programs available: Film Production and Social Media.
Along with getting a foot in the door in the music industry, developing contacts and learning the basics of how to produce a TV Show, qualified interns will also get a lot of perks that come with the position (concert tickets, industry events, gear, etc). Interns should expect to spend 8-12 hours a week performing Hard Knock TV related tasks and must commit to participating for at least one full semester in our internship program.
Unlike internships at bigger companies, where you spend a lot of time serving coffee and picking up lunch for your boss, at Hard Knock TV, you will be an integral part of our daily operations. Interns will get hands on experience in all aspects of production and a chance to be a creative component of our team.
Activities for interns may include (depending of which internship you choose):
.. PA for shoots. (Sound Assistant/Boom Operator, Camera Assistant, etc).
..Website & Social Media content production (blogging, creating social assets, memes, etc)
.. Video Logger (capture and log footage).
.. Basic Editing (Premiere Pro).
.. Attending and Providing input at our show development meetings.
.. Studio Office Administration (organizing tapes and b-roll, contacting labels to request music videos, etc).
.. Internet Research.
.. Interview Prep.
..Viral Marketing.
.. Graphic and Web Design.
Experience with Premiere Pro (or other editing software) and Photoshop are a plus but not required.
As our company continues to grow so will the full time paid positions. The interns that demonstrate the most dedication and passion to our show will be the first considered for job openings, as we would like to grow our team from within.
