RZA + Paul Banks (Banks & Steelz) talk NWA, Elton John, Prince, Phife Dawg, Kool Keith
Banks and Steelz – a musical collaboration between Wu Tang Clan’s RZA and Interpol’s Paul Banks sat down with Hard Knock Tv’s Nick Huff Barili for an in-depth interview. In part 2 of the conversation RZA and Paul share how Elton John, Leonard Cohen and John Frusciante inspired him. As the conversation progresses both artists recall their memories of Prince, David Bowie and Phife Dawg from Tribe Called Quest. Part two takes us back to Paul’s childhood and how he was introduced to hip hop through N.W.A and later was influence by Deltron 3030 and Outkast’s Stankonia. Much more to come!
