Mac Miller Talks Macadelic, Criticism, Cam’ron, ASAP Rocky + More

Exclusive in-depth interview with Mac Miller at Paid Dues. In part 1 Mac talks to Nick Huff Barili about what it feels like to look back at his debut studio album: Blue Slide Park, which sold 150K first week and was number 1 on Billboard. The interview continues with Mac giving us insight into what his mind state was like in making Macadelic, his most recent mixtape which showcases a more introspective and slightly darker Mac. The Most Dope MC states that his dad used to talk shit about his music, stating “yeah you are successful but what are you saying?!” Part 1 of this interview continues with Nick asking Mac to tell the story of how he was in Harlem at 3am when Cam’Ron from Dipset saw one of his posts on Instragram and told him to come through the studio.
