Jessie Reyez talks Chance, Calvin Harris, Hard To Love, Top 3 Songs All Time, Toronto

Hard Knock Tv’s Nick Huff Barili sits down with Jessie Reyez for in-depth interview at the park. Part 3 starts with Jessie talking about her collaboration with Calvin Harris on a track called “Hard To Love” which just came out on Calvin’s new album. Jessie says that her and her team have been fortunate to get support from different people in the industry including Chance The Rapper. At her shows Jessie covers Chance’s “Coco Butter Kisses”, Schoolboy Q’s “That Part” and Jay Z’s “I Just Wanna Love U”. The fact that she covers all Hip Hop songs is because Jessie loves Hip Hop and recalls listening to Biggie, Nas, and Mobb Deep growing up. Her top 3 songs of all time are Collard Greens by ScHoolboy Q, Pink Matter by Frank Ocean and Man I Used To Be by K-OS. As the interview concludes Jessie and Nick get into old Kayne vs New Kayne, how Toronto shaped her and how The Remix Project played a big role in her career. Last but not least Jessie shares what she wants to leave her fans with.
