Lecrae sits down with Hard Knock TV’s Nick Huff Barili for an in-depth interview. Lecrae starts the interview off by addressing being labeled Christian hip hop instead of just a hip hop artist and preconceptions people have about him because he raps about Jesus. The interview continues with him explaining the meaning behind the track Chase That and after performs a verse from it. When asked who he is currently listening to he mentions Lupe, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole and Big K.R.I.T saying he appreciated rappers with substance because radio these days just has people feeling like life is just about the club (co-sign that statement!!!). Lecrae goes on about not having positive male role models growing up and now wanting to be that person for others as he is working with youth and kids in prison. Producer extraordinaire Just Blaze sat down with Hard Knock TV’s Nick Huff Barili for an in-depth interview. Just Blaze starts off by talking about Hip Hop incorporating more EDM sounds and how he was ahead of the curb incorporating dance elements into Hip Hop tracks like Joe Budden’s “Fire” back in 2004. As the interview continues Justin talks about signing XV and how he thinks XV has the potential to be one of the next ones. He also states that he has 5 records with him for Kid With The Green Backpack album. Before we let him go we had to ask Just about his relationship with Jay Electronica after making classics like Exhibit A and Exhibit C. He says that since Jay moved out to London they haven’t had a chance to work together but that they talk and are friends. Just says that he has heard the album, but doesn’t know if Jay will call it Act 2 or Act 3 but hopes that they will have time to work on it before Jay has to turn it in. Just ends the interview by saying that he is working on tracks for Drake, Rick Ross and one of the biggest pop stars in the world among others. Can you guess who it might be???

Exclusive in-depth interview with Mac Miller at Paid Dues. In part 2 Mac shares the story of how he got a verse from Lil Wayne for his favorite song off the Macadelic mix tape titled The Question? Mac said that he was surprised by how fast Wayne got the verse back to him after Mac had sent him the track, even faster than Kendrick Lamar whom he had also sent a track to and whom he talks to on a more regular basis. As the interview continues Nick asks Mac about several quotes Mac has recently posted on Twitter from fans concerned that he has changed and is addicted to Cocaine. Mac address the rumors and says that he is NOT addicted to any drugs! Mac concludes the interview by talking about his sophomore album and then projects he wants to put out before it.
